This is one of the formations that the Thunderbirds performed. It was pretty amazing.

This is right before the fifth Thunderbird falls out of formation. I was a little excited to wait for the right time. They look so close together.

Before the show they had a number of trucks, airplanes, helicopters, and hangers to walk through. Blake was too scared of the large airplanes, but he liked the big trucks. It was a hot day. I think it hit 103 by 11am. We had to stand in line for 2 hours to get onto the base for the show.

Here is one of the planes that the pliots fly on Luke Airforce Base. We were trying to enjoy the shade it provided. We went with our friends the Nortons. We met up with Robert, Dondra's brother-in-law and when we went back to the parking lot Robert could not find his car. After 5 minutes we found it. Then it took us another 15 minutes to find our way out of the parking lot. They had a packed in there like sardines. There was dirt on every car because the parking lot was a big field. Though there was a lot of walking in the heat it was worth it.
